QualityFirst, executed by Smith’s Quality Engineer and highly trained team, insures that Smith customers receive the highest quality product on time and that all specified packaging, labeling, and delivery requirements are accurately met.

• QualityFirst begins with the procurement process, which includes over 40 in-house vendor screening tests and ongoing vendor performance ratings.
• Products undergo detailed testing and inspection, including visual inspection of products and packaging, electronic measurement, image collection, comparison to manufacturer specifications, and functional and electronic testing of statistically selected samples.
• Products meeting these high standards are shipped using customer specified labeling, packaging, and invoicing instructions. To insure on-time delivery, preferred logistics partners are utilized in order to move product around the globe quickly and cost effectively. Customs clearance is expedited by dedicated Smith staff on three continents.

ISO 9001:2000
Smith is ISO 9001:2000 Certified, and all logistics hubs and storage facilities are ANSI/ESD S20-20.1999 Certified. Smith was one of the first 20 companies in the US Customs Importer Self-Assessment programs, and it remains as one of the Top 1000 US importers and meets US Customs C-TPAT security standards.

ISO 14001:2004
