Our ESD safe warehouses and trained quality staff help you avoid the costs associated with ESD-damaged electronic components. Our warehouses are ANSI/ESD:2007 certified, so all electronic components are handled using ESD-safe materials and in accordance with ESD-Safe handling procedures.

In addition to a global logistics team dedicated to the on-time delivery of customer orders, we are also a member of several trade compliance programs. We were one of the first 20 companies in the US Customs Importer Self-Assessment program, and we remain one of the Top 1000 US importers. We also meet US Customs C-TPAT security standards. Our compliance and participation in programs such as these help avoid customs delays that slow product delivery.

Smith's CCAP-101 certification reflects our commitment to making sure all components we provide are genuine. We adhere to the highest industry standards for counterfeit avoidance and uphold stringent quality practices. We do our part daily to protect the supply chain from counterfeit parts.

Smith is a founding member of the Independent Distributors of Electronics Association (IDEA), a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the independent distribution industry. Smith adheres to IDEA-STD-1010A.

Smith ensures that our e-waste does not contribute to the global toxic waste crisis. We only work with E-Stewards Recyclers who undergo a professional audit every year to guarantee they do not export hazardous recycling byproducts to developing countries, use U.S. prison labor, or dump in municipal landfills. We also ensure that private data is kept secure, and that our operations protect both workers and the environment.
