Notebook drives

Demand for higher capacity mobile drives has increased: 640GB, 750GB and 1TB specifically. Toshiba and WD models are requested the most, followed by Samsung.

Desktop drives

Manufacturers are pushing customers to 500GB and 1TB capacities in an attempt to phase out the production of lesser used models like the lower end 160GB / 250GB / 320GB and the sub-1TB capacities of 640GB and 750GB.
