The mood on the show floor is positive, with distributors of all kinds talking about their strong sales thus far this year, despite some slowing in October. But the slower October is not all together unwelcome as it's offering time to explore new opportunities and customers. The outlook for 2011, though, seems to depend on who you talk to. Although many we talked to are very happy with their 2010 performance and optimistic about the future, there's no consensus on what 2011 holds. Manufactures, for the most part, see stable production along with a stable supply chain. Many distributors are not confident of this and see supply chain irregularities continuing at least through mid-year 2011.
