Panasonic Optical Disk Drive ("ODD") part number UJ-880A is short in the market. Smith & Associates suggests customers use substitute part number UJ-890A. In general, slim and half height ODDs are short due to increased demand and what now appears to be supply issues at the component level (we suspect with the driver IC used in production.) Please contact us at Smith if you have any questions.
